i've been keeping busy still and i feel bad for not posting any pics of myself or the leather circle scarf or my new hair-cut. i did have time on my break to check www.archivevintage.com and i picked some favorites here.

i found these beauties on sale. i forced myself to control my yearnings and went home v e r y proud of my hidden skill of self-control. it must've been hormonal.. they were even half price.

inspiration for weekend

i NEED to get the frill shirt from nakkna. dresses are by zero maria cornejo (upper) and opening ceremony. the head band is one of the cutest winter accessories i've seen. by topshop.

this is the i love fur. i love fur in many other ways too but she happens to pull it off really well. beautiful colors if the background doesn't count.

golden cage

i want jewellery. something more grown-up and longer lasting than seasonal stuff. some time ago i made a visit to my o my-store in helsinki and what did i find... david & martin jewellery and was blown away. i wanted to buy them all and was glad to find out they're silver and gold and not the kind you (well i at least) buy the whole collection at once (did that make any sense?).

he's getting closer and closer! there's rumours that marc jacobs will open a new store in stockholm 2009.. yet another reason to plan a visit to stockholm.

skirt into scarf

i found a leather skirt from second hand store and made a mini plus a circle scarf out of it. it's easy, and works witih different materials as well. circle scarf out of leather seems to work really well, just make sure the original skirt is the right width so the scarf won't be too small.

so it seems that marc jacobs inspires even the world of electronics.. remember the lego-orientated accessories in his ss2008 show? now pylones has turned the brightly colored little blocks into mini speakers that run off the power of your iPod and produce a surprisingly full sound, considering their equally tiny price tag ($22).
