what i wore today. see how i'm making an effort with the clutch on the 2nd pic?... whew, looks prettyyy rough. anyway the king cobra clutch was a found in bali and the shirt / dress is an old mens shirt i thought works better without sleeves.

DID YOU KNOW THIS: humberto leon and carol lim (of opening ceremony) are the new creative directors of kenzo!? i only read about this now as i'm catching up with normal life / news after 3 weeks of bliss called holiday and I mean WOW. can't wait to see their first kenzo collection in september and hear more about the new design team presumably hired.

man that was a holiday!!! it was a long silence but i'm back and will be posting normally again. i'll have some pictures from indonesia and perhaps even singapore.. it was so hot and humid i forgot to take pictures. i have some souveniers to show and a special pair on the way (!!!) that has me checking dhl tracking service once an hour. can't wait to show you them! bare with me a day or two though, i'm still trying to unpack the luggage that's staring me from a distance..

what do you think makes this italian's outfit? i'd say it's the skirt. why? the material is nothing fine, looks like sweatshirt cotton right? for me it brings just the right amount of contrast.

i'm flying to singapore tonight. my first time there, how exciting! if you have good tips where find beautiful silk kimonos in chinatown, let me know! from singapore i'll head to bali for week and a half of relaxing with pool, books, ipod and ipad (and hopefully some doplhins!).

i'm loving the come back of the trousers + skirt combo (done right) by acne in their resort '12 collection. light flowing trousers under and structured skirt out of a tougher material on top.
