season color scale

i've ben trying to figure out how to diy the ripped shirt in the first pic. if you know or have an idea please let me know! also the skirt in the third pic is outstandingly beautiful, easy to make work with simple garments like white basic t and black shoe boots. the second picture is from filippa k fall winter collection. Their tones for this season are great. burgundy looks so fresh with cold beige and grey.

Aurora gave some tips in her blog for "distressing" a t-shirt, see http://muotikaappi.blogspot.com/2008/12/revitn-paita.html But I'm afraid I won't have enough patience to achieve anything as great as the first pic...

Petra, thank you! I'm dying to see your finished product! Would love to try myself too, but I already have tons of "rip it up" projects lined up...
