wearing shorts in helsinki in end of may is worth blogging. our agency has opened a showroom called 'the picture room' that'll keep us busy until october. when in helsinki navigate yourself to pursimiehenkatu 3, come see good art and say hi!

t-shirt / finnish design

now here's the news: inka järvinen & minni havas, two illustrators decided to see what comes out when combining talent they have. the outcome was a t-shirt with a print made by combining each of the illustrators techiques: inka made the collase and minni drew it. kids t-shirts are for sale in helsinki10 (eerikinkatu 3, helsinki).

it's not my style to be skipping midweek days postings. i have. i'm sorry. it's been dead busy at work since my boss is sick and after work all i've wanted to do is leave asap from my laptop.

however I'LL BE PLAYING RECORDS AT EROTTAJA TOMORROW. and not just me but several agent pekka-first time dj's as part of this months 'designers wannabe dj's'-theme.

back to helsinki

whew, what a trip. it was so great to go back after 5 years (lived in london for a year) and fall in love with the place again. it felt like inhaling constant inspiration.
le book was quite an experience being the tradefair ever for both me and our agency. met lots of right people business-wise.

i saw hot chip gig (probably one of the best gigs ever..the guys were prodigal) and witnessed a tap dancer as an instrument live on stage (?!? i now)

did some shopping and here's a bad picture of my new top and cardigan. you can't really see anything else but the top.. i'm working on with the camera dilemma. anyhow i'm off to bed now.

off to london tomorrow

so there won't many posts if any. if anyone's going to le book tradefair come say hi at agent pekka's booth, i'll be there all thu&fri. i'll try to take loads of pictures and shop a lot so i'll have loads to share with you. have a good week!!
