thank you gemma degara

it's this picture from gemma dagara ss09 collection that made me yearn for a sewing machine. i got an option for it as a birthday present from mum like four years ago and just haven't gone through different alternatives with brands and models. if you know about sewing machines, let me know. all i know is that i don't want lcd screens or anything like that.
the layering and cuts in the picture made me think i could do that - the time has come!

i've heard that singer machines are quite unreliable; i've got one myself and have to admit it is waiting for maintenance right now.

supposedly pfaff makes great ones, but i have not tried one myself.

Mulle paras ompelukone on ollut Husqvarnan joku 80-luvun malli (aitin kone). Yritin guuglata kuvaa, mutten ainakaan viela oo loytanyt. Varmasti uudemmatkin on hyvia. Se on niin tukeva ja varma. Itella mullon Suomessa sellanen aivan paska Eva-merkkinen, joka makso muutamia vuosia sitten Anttilassa 99euroa. En suosittele. Taalla Chilessa mullon taas lainassa kaverin aitin kone, joka on Evaakin paskempi. Silla on siis todellakin valia millanen kone on kaytossa. Huonon koneen aareen tulee paljon harvemmin istuttua. Luulen, et Husqvarna ja varmasti myos Singer on takuuvarmoja laatumerkkeja.
