i had never heard of ms chakrabati until i bumped into her works on trend land website. i know i'm easy to please with photography meets illustration when made well and i guess that's just it - (imo) many do it wrong. oh and the tribal masks, i'm easily pleased by those.. is it so that she just hit me weak spots?

Nina Chakrabarti is indeed amazing. She was one of my tutors at uni for a little while and is unbelievably talented.
You may also like the early Balenciaga work by M/M Paris, not quite as tribal but there is a similar quality to some of it.
i do appreciate the M/M for Balenciaga a lot, as well as their work for Björk etc. wow, having Nina as a tutor must have been inspiring!
