i'm the pickiest when it comes to prints. in general i just don't like them, there's always something that bothers me. this time it was ann's turn to make me eat my words. the collections theme was caged birds and already before reading about it, it made me think of hitchcock's the birds from 1963.

There is such a fluidness to Demeulemeester prints, they don't feel... awkwardly print-y, if you know what I mean. This is an amazing collection from her, the love keeps getting stronger...
Personally I love prints - but these are exceptionally beautiful. On those skirts it looks like the print is a continuum of movement.
