last fall it was jade green this spring it's definately this beautiful brown by chanel - particuliére. i'm waiting to get mine this week when the first packages arrive. matched here with a parade of blues, light green/yellow leather and light grey, cargo green and brown givenchy sandals and peachy beige dries van noten knit.

now here's a trend alert continuing with the suit theme - focus on collar. i think i've seen the same thing in all men's shows, can't wait to see womens lines. change of texture, color, material or all of them at once. i remember seeing a light beige blazer with white collars which looked amazing, just couldn't find the picture anymore again. please let me know if you know the blazer i'm talking about.

1 nomad shop. i have no idea what brands is the store opening in helsinki feb '10 going to sell. i'm almost certain by the look of their site that it's going to be good. helsinki welcomes you.



2 love contemporary magazine. a newest child of paola suhonen (designer of ivana helsinki) is a magazine. teaming with the design duo ahonen&lamberg the outcome already sounds interesting. the themes behind the magazine doesn't sound bad either: 'new movement back to pure love, with a modern edge'. modern hippie-ism is all we need.

obsession now : trouser suit

irina shaposnikova's graduate collection at the antwerp royal academy of fine arts 09 show. how many things a year old look this fresh?! there's a resemblance to gareth pugh there - think fw2008 triangular print, the sci fi elements of ss2009 + christopher kane 3D organzas on ss2009. anyhow irina's a name to keep in mind.
