dreaming on a perfect fall wardrobe:
-a couple new golden rings - see the tiny fingers holding the stone? how genious!
-every fall i fall in love with the idea of a BASIC womens jacket and end up buying something totally different (last year a cape and a vintage fur vest) but maybe this year..
-proenza schouler platform clogs really take the the best out of the clog trend (that i somehow didn't really fall for).
-ps 1: CAN I HAVE THIS ONE TOO? donators welcome.. would be perfect with the proenza shoes!
-YSL bag looks maybe a bit too boring put together with the jacket, but think of prints and color. or nude and red. this could be the final touch on an otherwise messy-boho look, in other words a classic.

i found this picture of the most amazing piece of fashion i've seen for some time. you know that something screaming at you when at the same time your brain starts singing hallelujah - to me it was this dress(?). and it's been a while after my last love affair. this is what fashion is at it's best. for others it's seeing modern art, or a new model of audi (i guess there's that kind of people too, only guessing here) or a new song. for me it's only fashion.

as much as i want to forget about it it has hit me - it's going to get chilly soon. so i've been trying to remember to take each and every pair of stilettos and peep toes out before it's too late. now i've even started looking for inspiration for winter/fall stuff.. and bumped into julia von boehm of french vogue picture after another. her look all in all isn't my personal favorite but she's got amazing pieces on. like these coats, knits and furs. IF my trip to new york in sept will happen i'll definately be digging vintage stores to find a gem like these..

color flower bomb

i got a flower from a stranger yesterday. i was writing emails at work as usual when suddenly i see somebody opening a door and handing me a flower. 'just wanted to come bring you this, please take good care of it -it has sprouts', and he was gone. i was left with a flower in my hand and a huge smile on my face. well that somebody definately made my day! if i was to give a flower to somebody, i think right now it would be peter pilotto, just to express my graditute for the beautiful dresses he makes. here's one.

the girl in the first picture has matched the beautifully cut dress with nude shoes - love it. alma in the second picture looking effortlessly like a dream. plus check the shoes on the last pic!! are those jeffrey campbells? the metal part kind of looks like ones in his.

seeing fresh

in amidst of terry richardsons, paolo roversis and steven meisels it's wonderful to find find a new talent with a twist of his/hers own. i adore the picture by magnus sunnar (on the right). ellen von unwerth not being a favorite photographer of mine, she blew me away with her shot (on left). being a (sometimes naive) idealist i find it utterly intrigueing that a woman aged 54 is able to still create new things and see things out of regular. (i've been into semi-philosophical thinking lately and have come to believe it's possible for any of us to do almost anything well if we just make the effort and believe in ourselves.)
