miika kemppainen just posted the first picture on fb and was kind enough to let me post it here. him and tom wennerstrand have been travelling on fashion weeks doing what they do best - hair. on pictures model marike le roux backstage and on catwalk at alexander mcqueen. LOVE the hair!!

i found a pair of shoes i've been lusting since i saw the pictures from christopher kane ss 2008 show over three years ago. can you imagine, i found the shoes online at depot-vente a month or so ago and as i went to look for them this weekend the shoes were a) perfect size and b) still waiting for me. all this after garance dore sported the shoes again this fashion week - i was sure the shoes would be long gone. talking about meant to be??? i also thought one picture would do but when looking at these two pictures i guess you can see the theme going on here. and i keep saying i'm not a cat person..

i just did a weekend visit to paris...whew. i was helping minni f. ronya, a women's ready-to-wear brand presenting their first collection at rendez-vous / atelier richelieu (a beautiful space!). one of my favorites from the collection is the gloria blazer pictured here but there are so many great essentials in the collection spiced up with prints (print is hand drawn by minni havas, also one of the two designers behind the brand) that i'll be posting some more pictures soon.

absolutely loved dries van noten fall collection. the patterns feel a bit vintage-y, but in a good way. also as with proenza's fall collection i can't wait to see either the pieces in person or see some closeups.
